Boaters in Canada will be among the safest in the world. With the new Operator Competency Requirements gradually taking effect, it is the law for persons in Canada who operate pleasure craft to take safe boating course and pass a test that is accredited by the Canadian Coast Guard.
Passing this test will get you the Pleasure Craft Operators Card (PCOC) that is now required by all persons who operate pleasure craft in this country.
